About
Hi,
I’m Rommel, and I’m a freelance photographer from Talisay City, Neg. Occ. (Philippines). Photography is another side of me, and I considered it as a passion already. I love to travel, and I love capturing every minute of it.
Everyday is a journey, that’s why this photo-blog of mine serves as my timeline as I continue to learn and discover more of the aspects of photography. And in each journey of mine, comes along my cherished gears, Canon EOS 1100D, Β Canon EOS 60D, and my Sony DSC-T77 point-and-shoot camera .
Comments are very much welcome.
Good Day and happy viewing!

I went to Dumaguete once to visit a 1st cousin who was connected at Silliman as a humanities prof. but that was way back early 2000 π I loved the place and been meaning to re-visit 2008 when I came to visit PH then the weather didn’t cooperate so we have to cancel it until next time. π will be following your posts then so we can plan ahead which places to visit. Maayong buntag?
π
Dumaguete is such a nice place since then, quiet and peaceful, but one of the areas hit by typhoon and earthquake earlier this year. but fortunately, the damages was not that severe. I also visit Dumaguete occasionally, during business trips, but lasting only for a couple of hours.
thanks in advance for following my posts…and i can assure you, there are so many great places in Negros island that you can visit and take a lot of photos.
and yes, maayong buntag π
definitely one of the must visit place again for me..

Hi, you’re very much welcome π and thank you also for taking some time to post your comment here…have a nice day π
hi Mel, thank you for visiting and following me … when i read that you were from Talisay City, i thought it was the one in Bacolod which i have visited twice already. your corner in Dumaguete is still in the bucket list … but i am hoping my husband takes me there soon π your photos are inspiring, would love to see more of them. salamat ulit!
Hello,
you’re welcome, and at the same time, thank you also for taking time to post your message in here…Talisay City is actually a neighbor city of Bacolod City (a.k.a City of Smiles). I’m working in Bacolod. Dumaguete City is located south of Negros Occidental. Probably, by next month, I could visit there again and promise to post some photos of it. And yes, Dumaguete City is next on my list π Are you from Negros as well?
Thank you for appreciating my photos.
regards,
Mel

Hi Dina,
Thank you. I truly appreciate it. Have a nice day π
You too! π
Hi Mel, praying that you are well … keep safe, dear friend π
Hi friend *alwaysbobswife*,
Thanks for the concern. and thanks God, that after a devastating week for us here in the Visayas region, our cities here in Negros were spared by the strong typhoon. Only minor damages were present. My heart goes out to our kababayans in the Eastern part of the Visayas (Tacloban, Samar, Leyte). I do have relatives living in the devastated area, but thank God, that after 3 days,we got news from them that they’re ok. I’m kind of OFF lately of posting regularly here in my blog, for i’ve been busy with school works, and now, also with doing some charity works in helping packing relief goods for those victims of typhoon. Hoping that this will be the last of super typhoons that’s going to visit our country.
God bless.
Hi Mel, praise God that Bacolod had been spared. A friend from church told me that there were Christians from your province who prayed and fasted for impending calamities that may devastate the Visayas. Indeed, God answers prayers … and your area had been spared. May the Lord’s goodness continue to manifest in good and bad times, ultimately allowing us to completely trust in HIM all the time … warmest regards, April π
Hello,
Indeed, God is good. Once again, God showed how almighty He is. Thank you also for your kind words. God bless and have a nice day π
